Having Fun with Full Circle Community Support
Though heavy smoke and a windy, rainy ending, the QAS team went the distance and still had a great day on the course. QAS joined other local business to sponsor this annual event hosted by tahoe Donner and benefiting the Truckee High School Boosters Club. Coach Shaffer was a long-time high school football coach, mentor to young people and beloved member of the Truckee community. We are honored to have known him.
Dog Days of Summer with Humane Society of Truckee Tahoe
During the month of August, QAS is working with HSTT to promote healthy travel with your dog. Follow us on Facebook or the "tips" page on the website for ideas on summer travel with your dog. Also, we are helping HSTT by donating to their cause. For every customer who pay their invoice with FACEPAY during August, QAS donates a percentage to the HSTT! Thanks for helping us support this local organization.
Truckee High School Students Learn Basics About Their Cars
Quality Automotive Servicing in Truckee recently hosted a group of high school seniors and juniors from Truckee High School who are enrolled in the new "Adulting" class. They visited the shop to learn essential car safety and maintenance skills. More info here here.
Corn Hole For a Cause Benefitting Big Brother Big Sisters

Success For TahoeStaff Cycling Team
Sept. 13, 2013 marked the start of the fourth annual 300-mile bicycle ride by the TahoeStaff Cycling Team in honor of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nevada County and North Lake Tahoe (BBBSNC).
Friends and customers Hardy Bullock and Carey Thrasher joined by fellow riders Ken Bossung and Kurtis Sakai were successful in their non-stop ride from Truckee to San Francisco. Two Truckee organizations split the $1100 donation from the "Give Back" campaign in November and December; Truckee YoungLife and Humane Society of Truckee. Thank you to all who participated in voting for these two deserving non-pofits in the shop and on our Facebook page.
We believe in “Full Circle Community Support” and recognize our customer Tamara Grosvenor and son Stefan. QAS recognizes their mission to a small village in the San Franciso Libre region of Nicaragua and purchased a bike for this student to get to school. The school’s only well was broken so the sponsor organization also purchased new equipment. At QAS we believe and doing good and support our customers who are doing good in our community and beyond.
