I had luck initially when they fixed a pothole related issue, but when we took our car in the next time, the tech failed to check the car thoroughly. We ended up having to pay for a new wheel bearing based off of their recommendations from the last visit, when the issue was in fact a sticky brake caliper on the opposite side. In the end, I had to do the fix myself to avoid taking the car back up to Truckee and potentially warping my rotor with all of the heat from the stuck caliper.
Dear Shane, We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our services. Our team of technicians always attempts to check the car thoroughly during every visit though, it appears that we may have missed something. I want to be clear that the vehicle was driven on the lift (meaning a technician drove the car while it was in the air so the other could inspect under the the vehicle with drivetrain and wheels spinning). We are incredibly sorry if you believe that you paid repair that was not needed. This is just not the case. The caliper was not stuck while it was here. We appreciate that you brought this to our attention, and we will take all the necessary steps to review and improve our services to ensure that we minimize such occurrences in the future. Once again, we are sorry for the discomfort this may have caused. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss the matter. Sincerely, Bill Greeno
